Jenna Kowaleski
Writer, editor, and marketing & brand strategist in a magnificent (and sometimes chilly) little city.

About
Jenna is a longtime writer with extensive experience in marketing planning, brand strategy, and writing/editing content for traditional and digital platforms.
She currently manages the marketing and communications for a community-focused grocery store.
Under many brand names she has professionally published:
- Ghostwritten magazine articles
- Website content
- Social media content
- Press releases
- Annual reports
- Almost every type of ad, both online (digital, social) and traditional (radio and TV scripts, print, billboards, etc.)
Outside of her 9 – 5, Jenna publishes a monthly nonfiction column for the local newspaper.
She also writes fiction, including:
- (Award winning) short stories
- A fun little blog (a new Substack is in the works)
- Novel and novella manuscripts, for which she’s seeking representation
- She’s pleased to share that her most recent manuscript, a work of fiction set in the Northwoods that focuses what it means to be a community, and what it means to preserve it, was awarded a grant through the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. She’s eager to find a publishing home for this work.
Jenna lives in the Zenith City itself: Duluth, Minnesota. When she’s not walking the majestic shores of Lake Superior or hiking through the city’s 100+ miles of trails, she’s curled up under a blanket either writing her next novel or reading one.
